with the next generation iPod touch rumored to be coming in march could the iPod Touch 6G be released in the same year? a fall iPod event? or will apple leave it till the year after next (2013)?

As yet there are no details about the iPod touch 6G, mainly due to the fact that the predecesor to it (ipod touch 5G) hasn’t yet been released. The iPod touch 5G is rumored to launch around the same time as the iPhone 5 with both designs being similar to each other. we can only speculate about the release date of the iPod touch 6G but it is certain that it will not be release before Q3 next year.
